The grapes for this cuvée are sourced from a hilltop vineyard (Les Crets meaning “crest of the hill”) where the Chardonnay has been grafted onto the rootstock of the local grape variety known as “Melon Queue Rouge”

and only meters from the famous ‘Les Chevalières’ climat

this meteorological phenomenon makes the Valtellina territory favorable for viticulture

Aged for 12 months in 300L-600L oak barrels

but still amazingly graceful—beautifully “old-school” in its demeanor
