At first fresh and tart with pomegranate seeds and Cara cara orange slices on the palate, then darker fruit and cool, deep earth tones emerge. Acid electrifies the palate. This wine had an unfair advantage because even though it's a new project and even though I taste blind I could identify easily who made it, but in any case it's so well constructed and satisfying that there's little to quibble
