2023 Charles Lachaux Nuits-Saint-Georges La Petite Charmotte, Cote de Nuits, France Philippe Foreau broken down limestone (compared toPlanted in the 1960s on the northern side of Nuits Saint Georges, just below 1er Cru Bousselot. A gentle slope with eastern exposure. Fermented with 100% whole clusters, ambient yeasts, and no sulfur added macerated for 10 days with just two punch downs. Aged 12 months: half in used barrels, half in ceramic. Unfined, unfiltered. A small addition of sulfur after malolactic.
