2019 Domaine Amelie & Charles Sparr Pinot Noir 'Jardin d'Eden', Alsace, France Bindi It’s always the last parcelAn outstanding, limited Pinot Noir, from an exceptional limestone plot in Sigolsheim that sits just next to the grand cru Mambourg. Charles recently planted Pinot here, using grafts from the Clos des Epeneaux vineyard in Burgundy. He planted densely one vine per every meter and he plows by horse. In 2019, the wine was made with 100% whole clusters. Hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts and aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
