Son of a Cornas stonemason and a first generation vigneron, he started out as a wine industry mechanic before getting his hands in the dirt with Matthieu Barret at Domaine du Coulet, eventually leasing vines from Matthieu and bottling his first Cornas in 2006. Today he farms 1. 5 hectares in Cornas including pieces of Chaillot, Les Mazards, and Saint Pierre about 60% planted in the
