Description
(aka: PDN002) The recently (1983) publishd Asarum caudigerellum hails from moist woodlands and streamside between 5
It has great value as one of the most winter hardy trunked sabal palms we can grow
underneath a massive forest of cryptomerias at 5
good winter drainage is important
the huge cones are heavy enough to knock sense into even the thickest of skulls
Farfugium japonicum var luchuense Basho Ogi Platycladus (aka: PDN002) The recently (1983)Farfugium 'Basho Ogi' is a little known Japanese selection of Farfugium japonicum var. luchuense. The 8" tall x 2' wide clumps are composed of odd shaped 4" long x 5" wide leaves, nicely speckled yellow. Starting for us in mid October, the clumps are topped with 2' tall branched scapes of yellow aster like flowers. Moist, rich soils produce the best plants.
