The chest unusually having a lift up lid with hand forged iron strap hinges enclosing a storage area for bedding or clothing, the front drawer is in fact a dummy panel with geometric molding, below are a pair of graduated drawers with corresponding geometric molding, the drawers are deep and provide ample storage.
