Nikka Yoichi Aromatic Yeast Single Malt Whisky La Adelita Fermentation Open air with wildNikka Whisky is one of Japan's most storied brands. This single malt whisky was made at their Yoichi Distillery, which was opened in 1934 in a region of the country with a similar terrain and climate as Scotland, where Nikka founder Masataka Taketsuru learned his craft. This limited release uses a unique yeast strain and is reminiscent of ginjyo sake in its light floral character. It's bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).
