Simply remove your broken hanger, derailleur and QR skewer nut, then thread the QR skewer through the Emergency Hanger. Remove the spring, reattach the nut and tighten securely. Refit your derailleur and you're ready to ride. In most cases you'll retain shifting across half or more of your rear cassette range. Designed as a quick roadside fix
