Lovely 19th Century Hand-painted French Faience Blotter in Blue and Yellow russian artist with some wear/aging to theI found this ink blotter in PA but I believe it is 19th century, hand painted French faience. None too often that most of us use an ink blotter these days, but I thought the decoration on it so pretty I couldn't resist, and it would certainly make a good paper weight, with the benefit of a nice handle for moving it around and setting it down. Plus rocking it back and forth might calm ones nerves! And, really, why not pick up and ink pen and use it!??
