Velbon CX540 Film SLR and instruction leafletThe Velbon CX540 is a relatively well made basic tripod for film or digital cameras. It's definitely better than your average drugstore tripod, in that it's made by a company that understands what a tripod is and what it's used for. But the CX540 is still fairly lightweight, with a plastic head and leg locks, which are not going to stand up to medium or large format use. Nevertheless, it extends to eye level, and it's in very good condition.
