Mechanical Folk Art Wood Chopping Man vintage animal but otherwise very cleanPulling or pushing the slide lever to which this wood chopper's feet are attached causes him to either lift or lower his axe pretty fun, and one could place all sorts of things on top of the log to add to the drama! The carving of the wood chopper is pretty rustically done, but he's been given a great hat, terrific pointy nose, and deeply carved ears, plus that excellent axe! Unsigned, and I am not sure of the age, but it definitely has some years on
