Rothschild & Concha Y Toro, Almaviva Size:12x375ml 12% Sauvignon Blanc and 2%Here are the markers of Maipo in a cooler vintage (90% of grapes were harvested in May) still rich and exotic with gentle spice, brambly blackberry fruits, toasted coffee beans, but balanced by a sense of elegance and lift with liquorice root notes. It's not as intense as the bigger vintages but is beautifully precise, making it great for drinking over the next few years. Includes a touch of Petit Verdot for the first time.
