The face is detailed with pencil and what I believe is a natural black dye/ink

and you can position one or both arms to stay overhead

including a great head of hair and a few lovingly darned patches to one sleeve and just to the right of his buttoned front

I see them as just gorgeous sculptural objects, with all sorts of possibilities for display, and love the way they look like strips of teeth when stretched out and pointing up.
