while teaching at the Harlem Art Center and working at the New York branch of the WPA graphics division
though I'm not totally sure
Just a striking handmade pottery vase
then rendered under a magnifying glass
that shape of which is just the right amount of off-kilter
Three Old Kid Drawn Pencil and Crayon Airplanes sweetgrass and splint ash basket while teaching at the HarlemThree sweet old crayon drawn airplanes, from a larger set of plane drawings by one boy with an airplane obsession, done in the 1930s I believe. The large one is of the LUSAC 11, an early American two seat fighter aircraft of French design, commissioned and built in the United States during World War I. I especially love the little flyer in profile on the one I've got turned on its side. Large one in this group measures 11 1 4" x 6 1 2". Smallest 3 1
