and the whisk broom older than that

I could look at those soulful faces all day, and then again tomorrow; what a marvelously expressive pair, super folky but quite regal at once. I purchased this one from a dealer in Tennessee, and it looks like it is signed at lower right, but the ground is so dark it is difficult to make out. Earlyish 20th century I would guess,
