Fine Hand-painted Japanese Composition Doll skillful carving I was thinking this sweet

I was thinking this sweet old handmade mini ironing board (about the right size for ironing baby clothes) would make a sweet pedestal  for an arrangement of interesting little objects or weed pots

perceiving them as adding to the aura of things that are already charged with history and tradition and made to be used

Fine Hand-painted Japanese Composition Doll skillful carving I was thinking this sweetI am not entirely certain if this doll is vintage or antique, but would think sometime 1920s 40s, and I think she is so lovely. Her head, forearms and lower legs are composition, sewn to a cloth torso which seems to be stuffed with sawdust, as there seems to be a tiny hole somewhere from which a tiny bit of it has come out. Some staining to her top and a little wear to the top of the arms, but overall very good condition, with braided hair on the top
