The wood is aged with both water-stains and iron stain trails from the nails

handmade in Russia (in Moscow I believe) in the early 1960s

with red over cream over gray chippy paint on the front and top

and believe it dates from the 1960's

It appears to be sculpted of white clay though I suppose it could be plaster, hollowed out a bit on the underside, and painted a sort of a nude orange pink. She's got a great face, with long hair up in a loose bun, and these great wings that also feel a bit like cresting waves. Great from every angle and just great. 4 1 2" tall x
