which I must say is quite rewarding

Plus exuberantly painted spots all over

but I think their sense of color was pretty fantastic

and a couple of pretty minor surface scratches on the seascape aside as pictured

and figures

Lovely in Pink, Small c. 1830s Century Hand-colored Print Behind Glass (Box Lid?) name plate which I must say isJust a small thing but I love her. Perhaps she was once inset into the lid of a patch or bonbon box, I'm not certain. Hand colored woodcut, under glass, with gilded paper border. c. 1830s. 2 3 4" x 1 3 4". Tear to to paper as evident from upper right diagonal, and general wear but stable and sound and I think very lovely.
