Small Early 19th Century Folk Art Watercolor, Bluebells carved book cover The paint jobThis is one of three small watercolors I purchased together, all dating to the first half of the 19th century and I believe all by the same maker. I think these rich blue bluebells with their super long stamen are pretty perfect, and indeed look rather as if ready to chime! Really a sweet one. Paper size 4 1 2" X 3 3 4" and in very good condition. There is a light crease at lower right corner, minor.
