Victorian Waxed Fabric Cockade Fan with Ribbon and Decorative Edges square ceramic bowl or put to some otherI only just learned that fans shaped like this are called cockade fans, and I must say I find it a great pleasure to unfurl them and then lock the handles in place! Victorian era, I love the cutout edges on this one, combined with the peach colored ribbon that runs all the way around. The dark brown with gold decoration leather like covering on the wooden handles shows some wear, but it's in good structural shape with years of fanning left in it yet
