It dates to the 1860s or 70--previously manufactured by John S Hodgkinson of Philadelphia

Young Wrestler/Strongman in Prize Belt and Balletic Pose, Antique RPPC (with Bloodstain on Reverse) folkart Having spent a couple ofI take this handsome and very poised looking young man as a wrestler, 1st decade or so of the 1900s, with what looks like some manner of prize belt around his waist, though I can't quite read what's on it. He seems to me, though, with arms and feet in first position, ready to rise on his toes and spring to life as a ballet dancer. A charmer. 5 3 8" x 3 7 16" and in overall good condition, general wear and what appears to be an old blood stain (!, with
