These were a happy find the other day at a favorite shop in New Hampshire--I've had a couple of rare sets of colored blocks of the same form designed by renowned Swiss carpenter and designer Kurt Naef (1926–2006) in 1954

Among my personal favorites: “Alas
Wonderful Old Handmade Tin and Wood Marble Maze vintage horn folding knife and what COne of my very favorite things found at Brimfieldbeautifully crafted, marvelously graphic, and really, I think, quite a perfect thing. Concentric grooves were carved into the wood, into which strips of cut tin, with folded over top edges, were laid, creating a labyrinth for a marble to make its way through with the aim of reaching the center. And what a satisfying destination, with welded "roof" and open door on one side. Just lovely. Early 20th c. I
