--and I especially love the hand-drawn elements in this one

or that of a salamander

and this little imperfection just adds to what I read as a sense of anxious eagerness and vulnerability

Wonderful Little Figure in Furry Costume with Removable Mask Danish ceramics creating a satisfying geometryA completely marvelous little thing which it took me dropping on the floor (no damage!) to realize is a little man in furry creature costume, with his head covering coming off to reveal his face. Brilliant! And so fun. Painted papier mache plus what I believe is wool fleece. This gives me total joy. 3 7 16" t x 2 1 8" w and in good condition. Vintage Mexican I am guessing. A few small dings to his face, which looks a bit bloodied just right.
