The chain measures 21 1/4" long x approx 1" wide and deep and is in excellent condition

Signed at bottom left and I believe that what appears to be a "3J" at bottom right likely refers to his Alt's class in school

this makes it feel more like a photograph of a painting

"River People") and Papago (Tohono O'Odham) are renowned for coiled baskets like this one

with a little darkening to the wood in a few spots

Cigar Fan, with Heart Studded Flowers promitive The chain measures 21 1/4"Beyond the novelty of this, as a cigar that opens to a fan, is the great delight of actually enacting that transformation, by slowly sliding the top upward; it feels akin, I would imagine, to pulling a rabbit from a hat! I also quite like the transformation of a phallic object into a full, crenulated, heart studded pink one! And closing it back up is equally satisfying. 5 1 4 l closed; 12 1 4 l open. Very good condition. C. 1940s or so, I believe.
