)--took the trouble to drill holes through the wood in order to stitch through its little pink nose and those great button eyes

I think they are just great little objects

The wood has probably darkened a bit and is rough in spots

It measures 2 7/8" tall

which is unmarked--providing no clue as to the maker of the glove

Six Links Carved Whimsy Chain Priests of Pallas souvenir )--took the trouble to drillI never tire of these carved whimsy chains, as even carving a two link chain seems like a miracle to me, and even fairly simple ones have their own distinct personalities. I like the rustic ness of this one and its relatively large and fat links; it feels a bit more like one carved by a prisoner than an end of the day leisurely whittler! 5 3 4" long x 1 1 16" wide x 5 16" thick. Definitely with some age, but no notable cracks or splits. A nice one
