Unmarked but I believe Japanese

4" t x 2 1/2" w x 2 5/8" d and in very good condition with a very nice patina to the brass

such that it seems it may actually be a very piece of large iron or steel that has been stood up in the factory

but one would never miss it

The diagonal cuts on the opposite sides of the blocks allow for all sorts of  stacking possibilities
