I think the details in this photograph from 1915 are just wonderful--from the darling dresses
It seems only right that I should offer a mis-matched pair among them
with no cracks in the wood that I can see

Austrian Modernist Round Lidded Box with Hand-drawn Designs laborers I think the details inI've not seen another like this, made in Austrian c. 1920s I believe, which feels Art Deco Constructivist Bauhaus, with the hand drawn painted designs on the lid hovering between abstraction and figuration. (I see a sort of Moholy Nagy radio tower at top, and two kneeling figures that are also pure geometry at lower right). Unusual, and great from the side too, with alternating bands of red and gold. 3 5 8 t x 5 3 4 in diameter. Good condition, with
