Fabulous Pair of Carved Folk Art White Wolves! faience vase circa 1970sI considered splitting these two up and making them lone wolves, but it seems perhaps kinder to leave them as companions as they have made it together thus far, and it does feel as if theirs is a single howl! Hand carved and hand painted, with ice blue eyes, pink mouths, fantastic long wooden fangs (bits of toothpick I think perhaps) and loads of personality, I might guess they were once part of a folk art Noah's Arc but don't know for sure.
