finding a coat very similar worn by the PA 83rd Volunteers during the Civil War

with some small scattered stains/toning here and there on the photo

with light wear around the edges and a piece of old clear tape on the lower front

which were deeply carved then inked/painted white

(Model sailing ships in cases, yes, but not 360 degree dioramas of Inuit boats (2 kayaks and a umiak) complete with carved and painted figures and rocky, moss covered outcroppings!)
