"Voliero" Rosso di Montalcino, 2017 Vouvray Claus adheres to more traditionalDeep red cherries, black licorice, with a layer of fresh wet forest. On the palate some black tea, orange and eastern spice notes. A side project of the incredible yet humble winemaker, Andrea Cortonesi of Uccelleria. Incredibly complex for a young wine. Sangiovese. Fermented in Stainless Steel then matured in large oak casks. Montalcino, Italy
