Jean Fournier, Gevrey Chambertin Vintage:2021 and wild blueberry(from Creux Brouillard and the villages portion of Clos Prieur). This is a relatively ripe 2021 with its nose of plum, black cherry and hints of the sauvage. The delicious, vibrant and detailed middleweight flavors are also relatively refined thanks to the fine grained tannins supporting the mildly austere finale that is sufficiently structured to merit up to a decade of keeping.
