Pocket Watch at 2:43, Antique Copper Print Block on Wood character puppet -- but what a homelyI like old print blocks that are good just as objects though this could certainly still be inked and used and clocks of all sorts always feel resonant to me: time ticking, time suspended, time carried forward from one period to another, and here a specific moment: 2: 43 and 22 seconds! (And, perhaps in a manner a bit like the question of whether the glass is half empty or half full, whether one imagines a. m. or p. m might have larger implications!) 2
