and succeeding very very well in holding it together for the long term

thus yielding wonderfully inky pools of saturated color around its shoulders and neck

with light crazing to the glaze on the interior and a bit of undulation to the lip

But even better to my eye, here a little "quilt" made of white silk ribbons with red crosses, stitched together to form a sort of checkerboard of crosses.
