Copy of an inscription from the wall of Beauchamp Tower, Tower of London veranda with horsemen and people outCopy of an inscription from the wall of Beauchamp Tower, Tower of London, 1797. The inscription consists of a central circular roundel, containing a coat of arms. Surrounding this are four smaller roundels, one of which contains the date 1622. Above and below the central device reads the inscription T Salmon Nectemere, Nectimore. Many inscriptions left by prisoners in the Tower survive.
