Description
A cool and beautifully perfumed nose offers up essence of various red berries and exotic spice nuances along with notes of Asian-style tea
menthol and licorice blast across the palate

I have always had a weakness for Roberto Voerzio's 2000 Barolo Cerequio
Bellevue Mondotte Vintage:2004 A cool and beautifully perfumedRuby red. Roasted plum, toffee, game and nutty oak on the nose. Lush, fat and stuffed with fruit. A wonderfully pliant 2002 with noteworthy density and richness. Sound acids and suave but firm edged tannins give this excellent balance. Finishes very long and ripe. This is even stronger than it appeared to be from barrel last spring. Stephen Tanzer
