The neat grid of red and green windows on this structure

and I think the hand-painted black lines against creamy white are pretty hard to beat

Age toning and some scattered stains around the perimeter

is my particular favorite

JJH's 1890s Handmade Wooden Pinpong Paddle with Inlay pepper shakers Great by the shop registerThis charmer of a handmade ping pong paddle came with a note attached: "JJH was my great uncle, b. 1870 d. 1912, and this was handmade by him." Sadly, JJH did not live long enough to play ping pong into his old age, but one imagines that he must have been pretty serious about it in his youth or middle age to invest so much love and labor into his paddle! With inlaid wood for the very excellent monogram and two rings of dashes encircling it, seeming to
