There is ample structure here as well though it’s largely buffered by all of the mid-palate extract and I particularly like the depth

Beams of tannin dominate over the radiant fruit that was much more expressive when the wine was in barrel

This is not going to wow you with its concentration

Grave (Pomerol) other_regions dry and impeccably well-balanced finaleThis estate tends to produce light, fruity, but often superficial Pomerols. The 2011 has plenty of up front appeal, but slightly more depth than expected. The color is a healthy dark saturated ruby, and the wine displays plenty of caramel, black cherry, spice box and earth notes. Drink it over the next decade.
