I believe this is fused glass

with just a tiny bit of rust here and there

Fantastic Old Folk Art Carved Cat with Painted Eyes small Native American pot 2" across at base andI've had a few old carved cats with great folky faces in the shop, but this is for sure my favorite, and I think it is quite an old one. The stain is definitely original to the piece and has aged to yield a really wonderful surface with mustard yellow undertones, and then creamy white paint for the whites of the eyes, with big black painted pupils. I could look at this face all day, with the alert, carved out ears perfectly framing the long slope of a
