Voigtlander pitched this camera as a rival to the Leica, and priced it accordingly: it's a solidly built camera that takes some pretty impressive lenses. That said, Leica is still making cameras, and Voigtlander closed up shop in 1972, so I guess we know how that went. Fact is, the Prominent isn't as versatile as a Leica,
