Girl Inside a Red Poppy! 1910 Hand-painted Watercolor Postcard whist marker Tiny dings here and thereA total gem I think. I take it to be a lush red poppy (my personal favorite flower) from which this little girl is peeking out her head, which makes it seem a bit like an Opium fueled vision! Sent by a Dieterich to an Elizabeth Burmann in 1910, along with the news that Dieterich was not feeling well and the Rich Boatman's wife was dead! 5 5 8" x 3 5 8" and in great antique condition.
