Description

And surely the diminutive scale was so that it could be easily carried around in one's pocket and frequently consulted

and just looking at it makes me really happy

but know they are quite scarce and highly collectible

These are tethered to the scrap wood handle with wire wound round and round in to my eye a really beautiful way

litho over paint

19th. C. Staffordshire Transferware Hare Plate white slip glazed And surely the diminutive scaleA rare c. 1830s 40s Staffordshire transferware Hare plate, because I love a bunny, and love the simple "hare" label describing this one. This was made as a child's plate and would be good now for teatime just the right size for a biscuit or two, then for holding one's teabag. Happy hoppy. 4 7 8" in diameter with a very fine hairline crack running up from the hare's back, minor.
