Description

One finds Victorian era Tangram sets around in wood or ceramic and comprised of seven flat polygons to be arranged in a square

stable with a nice patina

and clearly they put in a lot of effort

Legoff who signed the back of this painting and dated in 1908 was Amelia Legoff

I'm guessing 1920s or 30s

Old Jointed Folk Art Dancing Monkey vase with animals One finds Victorian era TangramA curious old jointed monkey, with graphite drawn face and details, and a hole for a dowel at the center of its back, via which it would and could be held aloft and set to dancing. Happily, it is limber at its joints, so easy to position sitting upright, or leaning back on its elbows, or doing a split! Nice age to it, earlyish 20th century I believe, all original with a nice dry wood patina. 10 1 2" t x 4 1 2" widest and in good condition.
