Ballot Millot, Meursault Criots Vintage:2023 (from vines in Les LongecourtsHere too there is just enough reduction to push the underlying fruit to the background save for a hint of the exotic. The sleeker and finer medium bodied flavors are not quite as powerful or concentrated but they do flash more evident minerality on the well detailed, balanced and lingering finish. This is an excellent villages and one that should amply repay 5 to 8 years of keeping.
