Charles Lachaux, Volnay Les Santenots Vintage:2018 I am not sure howThis too is conspicuously floral in character with its more elegant and spicier aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is cut with hints of earth, anise and violet. There is even better volume and power to the muscular and lightly mineral inflected flavors that culminate in a compact, dusty and very serious finale. This appears to be quite promising though note well that at least moderate patience is advised.
