Box: 6 1/8 x 4 1/2 x 2 7/16”

and a knot in the wood showing through

There are holes at the ends of the arms which could also be threaded to hang

The back is pretty flat

38 Inch Carved and Painted Whimsy Chain with Hook and Ring Ends drawing on copper To my eye such satisfyingA nice long one, more than three feet running, with a round loop at one end and a hook at the other, so to join. A good one for hanging, though I also like it just spilled in a pile. All carved from one piece of wood, with a coat of creamy yellow y white stain paint, I'd guess maybe 1940s or so. 38 1 2" l. Links 1" wide; 1 3 4" d ring at end. Excellent condition.
