Antique Painted Bentwood Box with Gold Flying Cranes git for her The box is in veryThis dark green painted bentwood box features finely rendered flying gold painted cranes or herons amid curling lines evocative of clouds or water. Executed in a Japanese influenced art nouveau style, I would guess this box dates to the late 19th century. The underside of the lid and interior bottom of the box is lined with dark green fabric with a little padding underneath. Really lovely, it would be great for holding jewelry, sewing supplies (I
