A generator is always six sided, comes to a perfect point with six equally sized faces, and is highly polished. Towers generally have 6 or 8 sides, though can have another number, come to a point with unequal sides, & or show of natural features such as voids and geodes that prevent the sides from being perfectly polished. Like a generator, they can be used to focus energy and help distribute it.
