Found Face mask to hang A bit of bleed/burn to

A bit of bleed/burn to the ink on a couple of names but overall dark

4 1/4" wide x 2 5/8" tall x 3" deep

There are two holes drilled into the underside so may once have been attached to a heavier base slab

Bottom right corner is clipped but otherwise very good condition

begining in the 1870s

Found Face mask to hang A bit of bleed/burn toI think may have been an anode used in a car, which I only know through searching for its likeness. I just love it as a found face, which reads wide eyed happy attentive from one side, and sad horrified from the other! Cast of metal, with a nicely aged, craggy sort of surface that makes it read more like concrete now. With a strangely intense sculptural presence! 3 5 8 x 3 1 8 t x1 1 2 d. Aging as evident, all to the good.
