He was wounded a number of times and received the Wound Badge in Silver on 20 February 1945 and Gold on 17 September 1945

Delsart", three are maker marked "Aremail", three are maker marked "Fraisse", one is unmarked, in various sizes, twelve with a vertical pinback, four with dual lugs, intact enamels, ranging from very fine to extremely fine.
